Here We Go...

I find myself awake in the middle of the night, sometimes sleeping in the middle of the day, but always wondering why we're here. I guess I've always been curious, and I've never been given any good answers. Eventually I told myself that we create our own purpose, and so here I am; typing as a testament to mankind that we are productive. That we can ultimately overcome our seeming smallness to do something great is one thing we must never take for granted. Despite the distractions of everyday life, we can transcend our seemingly personal desire and greed, and instead treat our neighbors as ourselves to create a society that we actually want to live in. It may not be obvious, but we're doing a pretty good job. Like most great things, change is subtle. All in all, it should be self-evident that, rather than the results, the process is what truly counts. We must constantly struggle to shed our ego embodied by our perpetually fickle desires. Without struggle, there can be no progress.
And here,
We try to laugh, love and live, for Understanding, Bliss and Peace, with each, every and All, derivations of One.

"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don't bother concealing your thievery- celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from- it's where you take them to."
